Typically, it takes a bartender about 30 minutes to set up for basic bar service. Additional time will be required if we are providing equipment, supplies or optional services. We'll discuss this in our consultation to insure we allocate enough time to open the bar on time.
What do the bartenders bring with them?
Each bartender has their own comprehensive kit which includes speed pours, shakers, bottle openers, spill mats, garnish tray and more. If you contact for additional equipment then they will of course be providing those items as well.
How many bartenders will I need for my event?
One bartender can effectively handle 50-75 guests - depending on drink menu, type of event and length of bar service. We recommend a bar back for events with 60+ guests and an additional bartender for those expecting over 100. We want your guests to be enjoying the festivities, not waiting in a line at the bar.
What is a bar back?
A Bar Back is a bartender’s assistant. They help keep the bar stocked with alcohol, ice, glasses, garnishes and support the bartender in order to keep the bar flowing smoothly. We recommend a bar back for larger crowds or when the drink menu contains complex cocktails that take longer to craft.
